Magnus,

> Sounds very handy. Sounds like something you could have in your bag all the time and rip out whenever "there is a problem I can diagnose quickly" :)

yup!

> Not very high speeds, but useful never the less.

In 6 channel mode (as on my facebook) it'll run at 50Mhz sample rate, more than enough for testing the 10Mhz SPI. You can up this to 100Mhz sample rate if you drop to two channels.

16 channel mode is 12.5Mhz sample rate and normally more than I need for 99% of things, for things that are faster I can drop to 8 channels and get 25Mhz, so it's actually quite flexible.

> Windows, Mac, Linux... OK, sounds decent enough.

yup, and the software is quite straightforward, what I like is that you can do a capture in 16 channels at 12mhz, then do another on 6 channels at 50mhz, and keep the previous capture, so you can swap between them to reference each other.

> Got to try the software to get a look and feel of it.

it's free and has a simulation mode when you don't have the doo-dad attached.

> Magnus - survived the chocolate cake munching attack

hahaha :)

Paul (who at some of the chocolate cake to which Magnus is referring)
