[sdiy] Aaaaargh.... M7 x 0.75 panel nuts, wut?

It seems that just about every North American parts distributor sells
the cheap small Alpha (or similar) panel-mount pots, but just try to
find someone that will sell the nuts separately!

Mouser apparently has them, but they're an extortionate $1.10 each!!

It seems that my options are either to import them from Europe, or
buy an M7 x 0.75 tap and some hexagonal brass stock. This is (pardon
the pun) just nuts.

Any reasonable way of getting a few dozen of them?
