Frederic,
nice, and thanks for sharing, but I wonder how much the programming adapter is?
I know the ARM compiler is hideously expensive, but I think GCC now has good support for it. I've been looking at the raspberry-pi for developing stuff, it's a 700Mhz ARM capable of running linux and has a lot of GPIO brought out for around £35.
Both of these are certainly something to watch and consider going forward.
