I subscribed to Popular Electronics for a long time in the 1970's. It 
was much fun and very inspiring for me as a kid getting into electronics.

Before it was Popular Electronics, it was "Electronics World" in the 
early 1960's. The Jan 1961 issue had an article by Bob Moog for a 
"Transistor Theremin".
