[sdiy] transistion from 7489/74189 to more modern ram??

One mag I remember was Kilobaud.  I still have the first 12 issues, but 
it was kind of a looser magazine.

Another one was 68' Micro Journal.  This magazine catered to users of 
the 6800, 6809, and 68000.  This was a pretty good magazine.
