I'm almost inclined to believe the list server somehow sensed Juergen's
passing and stopped as a mark of respect.
In the early days of synth-DIY, when I was cobbling together circuits
without much idea how they actually worked, there were many helpful folks
here who spared their time and energy to help me understand stuff.
I will remember Juergen for going the extra mile. His response to a question
would often include a hand-drawn schematic, scanned into gif, and a lucid
explanation of what it did.
His loss is a reminder that passing on what understanding we can is a fine
way to honour those we have learned from.
