Hi Tom,
I'm pretty sure the Gould OS300 had a graticule that was separate to the tube.
It's a dual 20Mhz w/- an 8*10 cm screen. A web search should find you a PDF copy of the manual (which seems to confirm my memory) - if you luck out, just ask and I'll email you my copy.

The reason I know about the Gould is because I bought one on eBay from someone who knew how to use it - but didn't know how to pack it to make it courier-proof. Thankfully/surprisingly it still worked when it got here - but the case required some serious panel beating and I had to completely re-mount the tube.
It was a good little scope from a UK-based manufacturer - so they shouldn't be rare.
