Yes, there is a MIDI clock divider that I can set from 1 to 128 (right now).  The
waveform changes when the divider counts down to zero.  MIDI start resets the counter
to zero, so if you have control over MIDI clocks, you have control over when the
waveform changes.

There is only a single pole lowpass IIR filter at the synth output to limit high
frequency content.  This filter has essentially fixed cutoff, but can be set by the
patch editor.  The harmonic changes come solely from the fact that the waveforms are
generated by pseudorandom means.
