Truly, 'metallized polyester' and 'film and foil' caps are vastly different. At least in
pulse applications. Which (frankly) I doubt makes much difference in a guitar amp where the
impedances are much higher and the signals (frankly again) have some limited slew rates...

Now if you're snubbing an really big IGBT...

BTW, did you know that you can get capacitors with genuine COPPER lead wires instead of steel,
for applications where the steel leads would induction heat ??? (not in my guitar amp...)
