I'm speechless. I kept looking for some indication that this was a
joke and that it was all being delivered with a sly wink and a nudge
nudge. Nope. These people are 100% dead serious about attaching a bag
of small rocks to your audio connectors to improve the sound. I...
it... but the.... there are no words.

Following a link on the above site to an award they recieved in 2006
led to even more gems:

My favorite is the demagnetizer for CDs and DVDs. They state this is
necessary because the materials used to print labeling on the disks
are highly magnetic, and comprise 1% of the material in the disk. Oh,
and that aluminim is 'lightly magnetic.' Not too sure on that one, but
that's the first I've ever heard of that particular property of
aluminum. Maybe aluminium is different ;) Still, there glowing
recommendation for the demagnetizer includes this instruction -
"Changes are not permanent and a disc should be demagnetized every
368.26 seconds, and NOT a second later! Actually, it should last a few
months though naturally this is all dependant on how often one spins a
disc. More spins equate to more potential magnetization."

Wow. Just... wow.
