[sdiy] Korg Poly61 a peculiar design!!

Or it was a student project by a relative noob who was copying circuits without a deep understanding of them.

The parameter control is odd, and not something a musician or experienced designer would have included. 

Would it really have been that much harder/more expensive to increase the resolution?
