Perhaps but Porky61 1982 and Poly800 1983 and MS20 last production
year 1983 so they could have used NJM single chip solution as well?
Trident still in production in 1983 used both SSM and LM13600. Year Mess?


Edit: should be as said in original post complete VCO with
timer reset ramp and comparator feedback to timer. Gee!

And yet none knows why?
