Hi Marc!
>I have a Poly61 too but with a dead keyboard. The keyboard is the true weak
>point of this synth, and there is no MIDI(sic)
Bob Weigel [ mailto://sounddoctorin@imt.net ] sells 3M conductive selfadhesive stickers
that can be put on the graphite stamps on the rubber part of the keyboard.
Read more about it here:
http://sounddoctorin.com/synthtec/parts/key.htm#polycontacts
There is also a PDF and video there that shows how to install.
>I had +/- in mind to design a special MIDI interface for it to emulate the
>keyboard.
I already did this - works fine but is a quite expensive design as I made a universal design where
Analog Matrix chips with diode decoupling sits in parallel with the keyboard.
A Universal design always has its price...
There is no information about that on my webpage but if you are interested I could send you information and pictures on it per private email.
But Bojan Burkeljc Polysix MIDI-Interface could work here too and has a very cheap hardware!
You can select Bojan PCB or my PCB- design - I added a midi address switch (P6retro2; and Bojan added the software to read the switch) while Bojans Version (P6retro) only has the MIDI settable address selection.
