Maybe there was some irony in the graphics tablet analogy, but it is a very 
good one indeed.
Anyone who has experienced painting with paint, and with a graphics tablet, 
will know exactly what the difference is between analog and digital 
synth-diy.
There are pluses and minuses with both.
