Speaking of which, has anyone tried to recreate Nyle Steiner's famous
experiments with Zinc used as a negative resistance oscillator?

I tried once, but only got it to oscillate a few times. It was very
picky... but no one will ever stop manufacturing it!!!

He mentioned that we was never able to create gain using his
techniques but I dream of being able to do that someday.
