Yes, but..
it's a rotary controller that REALLY needs something, and if you want to 
indicate an ordinary pot with leds, you can just make the pot a dual and use 
the second pot to generate a control voltage that drives a multi-led level 
indicator. (If National Semi still make them..)

degree range of a rotary
potentiometer.
