If the jack was attached to a pcb with some mass and screwed up against 
a panel, I could see a good jar knocking a plastic nut off kilter like 
Paul describes. Or the jack could get smashed against the side of the 
box, pushing it in towards the panel.

I think Myth Busters need to spend some time with this one.
