[sdiy] off list can shipping cause nuts to cross thread??

Just to be on your defense ... I've had some inexpensive jacks (e.g. crappy)
where the threads on the nut were rather sloppy for the jack.  As I would
tighten the nut, one side would pop back a thread and the nut would be
crooked. I could see a possibility for a loose tolerance nut being jarred
crooked on the threads.  See how tight the threads interlock. (I'm always
leery of these messages on the 1st).
