I apologize if this is kinda off topic but it is DIYish since it is a kit. I
find this to be an outstanding piece of re-engineering IMO.

I have also gleaned from Tom that there may be something similar coming from
him developed for the much underrated Casio FZ series samplers. I will be
happy if that comes to pass being an FZ fanatic and general Casio nut.

It is encouraging to see people putting effort like this into older
technologies which should have never become obsoleted to begin with.
The masses drive the market and so much true ingenuity falls through cracks
and becomes lost.

If somebody released a brand new sampler with an analog signal path nowadays
I would be the first with my wallet out. As it is I think I must obtain a
1986 DSS-1 with 24Megs of RAM and USB now LOL! I remember how much fun the
original factory DSS-1 was so this has got to be good times...
