I hadn't realised, but Tom Oberheim is making hardware again, starting with the SEM. Maybe everyone else knew already, in which case sorry for being late to the party. He has a (brief) webpage up about it here:

There seems to be a trend developing of "analog era" designers going back to building hardware synths. It's got to be a good thing. I'm very pleased to see so much activity in the field, and I hope some really good instruments come from it. Tom O is going to have to move away from the SEM though (what's he going to do? build another four-voice?) and aim at the later (programmable, polyphonic) Oberheim stuff if he really wants to make a mark.
