[sdiy] brainwaves to CV :O)

Hi all,
Nice that you brought this topic up, Gergo/Pala! Brain-computer interfacing is actually what I do for a living!
The thought had crossed my mind to do something similar. However, one thing to take into account is that most of the 'Brain-2-CV'-like systems only use the brain as a random noise source only, which isn't that spectacular. Personally, I'm much more interested in voluntarily controlled signals from the brain, where you really feel that you can influence your instrument by performing a specific mental task. Just out of curiosity a question for you girls (and guys ;)) :
If a software or hardware module would exist that allows you to map brain-signals to CV or MIDI, who would use it? Let's assume that you can't play the synth keys directly from you brain, but that you can only control one parameter (i.e. filter cutoff, while you play manually).
Best,
Rutger
