Thanks Neil,

I've now been able to track down half a dozen potential suppliers for a couple of parts that are pretty much exactly what I was after - just needed to get past that initial false-start with the schematic symbol and get my head round the Chinese data sheets.

With these generic parts the quality can vary greatly from one supplier to the next so I'll get some samples and see what goes.
