Hi guys,
I'm hiring a moving van which will be going half-empty from Bavaria,
Germany to Cambridge, UK on about the 9th of November. It'll be around
Germany for a few days prior to that. If anyone's looking to move
musical instruments from somewhere on the van's route, here's your
chance for a cheap and good transport. Of course other things can go
on the truck as well, pick-up and drop-off locations include most of
Germany, a large chunk of France, and UK/London. The driver (not me)
is a musician and electronics engineer himself, so he can appreciate
what is needed to transport delicate instruments without damaging
them, and has got experience in doing so (mostly transporting vintage
organs of the kind of Hammond B3 and Yamaha organs, but also quite
many vintage synthesizers). He is 120% trustworthy, a long-time
acquaintance who has handled money matters in my name quite often. If
anyone's interested, please e-mail me off-list. I'm fairly certain
that the prices for the transport will be much lower than renting a
van for yourself or using ad-hoc professionals who would have to make
a trip back (i.e. man and van) and who have no idea about how to store
and move delicate equipment, probably damaging the goods. Feel free to
forward to anyone who could be interested.

Thanks
