[sdiy] Modeling circuits

State of the art modeling such as Universal Audio uses, and probably line6, actually painstakingly models the electrical behavior of every circuit element (transistors resistors, tubes etc) on the original circuit board and runs that model on one or more dsp chips, which is why they need a lot of horsepower.
