The loctite version (Loctite Weld) works better IMHO. On the more
industrial side of things, we use stuff called Loctite Hysol 1C that is
outstanding on metals. When fully cured, it is hard as a rock. You should
heat it up though to around 60C to really get it working and at temperature
it sets up in about 15 min.

JB Weld works okay.
With the right flux you can solder aluminum which is another fun way to
mount studs. :-)
