How about tubing of the correct diameter that you've slit with a razor?
Cheap, flexible, and available, but might require some adhesive.
If I went that route I'd be tempted to build a small wood fixture
with a hole drilled to guide the tubing against the blade - controls
the cut and makes it less likely to slit your finger :-0!
