I'm very sorry to hear that. He was one of the best professors I had at
Tech, a natural teacher whose classes everybody wanted to attend. The man
loved Bode plots, and I can't tell you how many packs of log-ruled paper I
went through in his classes. :)
My favorite moment with Dr. Leach - one time, at the annual EE picnic, I
told him "you have a very interesting skull." Dr. Leach replied, "I'm not
sure how to take that." I said, "you should take it as it's intended - as
a complement!" He then smiled. Yes, I may have had a few beers at the
time. ;)
