I paid 80 Euros for the newest edition not so long ago after being fed
up with lending it from the university's library. It's not terribly
cheap, but then again it's roughly 1600 pages worth of material. Most of
it is probably not relevant to students, but it's always good to have a
few books in which you can look up things, not having to resort to the
Web all the time. Side note: I'm always suspicious of students who don't
own/keep a few books, but that's because I like books and apart from
papers/datasheets/application notes use them more than anything else as
a source of information -- added benefit being: you can cite them if you
have to.
