I use 'em myself, and have never had any problems with them. However, you
must ensure that you use high-quality crimp pins on the female connectors.
I was using ones from China that didn't have any "spring" in them, and they
started failing. Now I'm using ones that are very springy and retain their
shape, and they're great.
