If the leads are made correctly, I can't see a problem.
But, I find it very difficult to make the leads myself.
Can one buy pre-made leads for this stuff?
Certainly, there is a lot of industrial & scientific stuff
from the 60s onwards that uses this stuff - and I have never
seen any failures.
