Indeed. Even if they are similar circuits, it's not unreasonable for them
to sound different from either the NE diode bridges or the IG state
variable filters. After all, SSM2040s are simply quad cascaded OTA filters,
as are some IR3109 and CEM3320 configurations, but no-one accuses them of
sounding the same :)
