Another solution to this problem is to use the resistor inside the feedback
loop (scenario "B"), but also to put a small capacitor between the -
terminal and the opamp output terminal (i.e. between the opamp output and
the resistor). This compensates for the capacitive load by contributing a
counteracting positive phase shift, and it does so without loading the final
output. However, the capacitor and resistor values must be carefully
selected and the selection depends on the magnitude of the capacitive loads.
Plus, it limits the bandwidth of the opamp, and it still isn't as effective
as just the outside resistor.
