I'd like to thank Amos and Russer from moog music who have been helping me settling my Little Phatty ground issue. Rosser has made modified cable to be installed instead of the stock one, and sent it to me at no cost. The mod is very simple, basically it connects between what seems to be two grounds on the power supply boards, directly, to each other. It looks like one of the ground point in the circuit had itself only touching the chassis for a direct connection with the other grounds. I will test my Phatty and post about the results ! If all works fine for a few weeks I will upload a small blog with the instructions. Reminder - the problem was that the Little Phatty used to freeze or have the rotation leds rotating themselves (affecting the actual sound). This was told to be caused by connecting the Phatty to a ground loop.
