[sdiy] B566AC anyone? report on DK70 bender neck

Dang...it's in the package of an NE566 of course (8 pin dip)..what kind 
of knucklehead would name it that!  Someone thought that's what they 
were who ran the electronic store I got a bunch of stuff from years 
ago.  I thought I had 8 more of them than I have henceforth. Does anyone 
know what these really are?  I Am at this time designing a custom grip 
for the siel DK70 that will feature a much more ergonomic setup with a 
tilter instead of a pitch ribbon.  That way you can stay on the buttons 
with other fingers.  The thumb..however..will control an lfo with 
pressing in giving depth and tilting changing rate.  A switch for 
waveform type will also be provided and I may break it into ranges 
too...we'll see how it works out.  I'm going to try to get the prototype 
done soon here and then make enough of them to go on the units I've 
saved up here for that project. -Bob
