Exactly, and have i ever claimed that i did wrote it? No.
Have i asked for any recognition for doing so? No.
Therefore i would like to thank Damian/CheaterCheater for his ability
to actually look behind curtain and by pointing that out and once
again put him self *above* everybody else, even Jack Gnassle.
The point are not who wrote it but that it was expressed from out of
a life experience and many hours of deep thinking and then lifted
over to be debated among EE and techs. Whatever.
Some people might even know Jack and would have objected or hesitated
to express their real thoughts just on that base, so leaving it neutral
are a better idea but that didn't Damian think of because he's just an
arse of a troll as usually.
I would have done the same whoever might have been the originator,
Bob Pease, King of Greece, Muhammad, Jesus, whatever.
Why rewrite something that was already written well both in thought and
intention? Besides that i do disagree with jack on some points that i do
think a degree are a beneficial step to a better job just because of the
education needed to do more advanced jobs. Besides what Jack really points
out are that techs many times do the jobs that EE's should do and are not
tanked for it.
Secondly, if i had written it few would have bother to dabble trough
my crappy English as you say to give their thoughts and insights.
Well, you see mr Troll i already have tried that many years ago.
Perhaps my crappy English comes from some disability i suffer from
mr Damian arshole? Ever spent your superb brain a thought on that?
Fourthly, no one was wanting for anything from anyone, especially not
a particularly reply from Grant as you are insinuating. Grant are
entitled to write whatever he wants in any way he wants without
getting bugged by you. What do you have against Grant?

Last, and as expected from a troll like you would be to say like above:
****in more (enlightened!) comments****..
Each and every reply that people, EE's tech's and hobbyists has done
on this very list to the original Jack Gnassle essay posted here are
great and enlightened, have deep insights and based on well grounded
life long thoughts so it is quite typical your personality to dismiss
their experience like that.
This list are about sdiy and not some brain race that you intent it to be!
The only reason i can find that you are here on this list are the same
as Sampa Tolvanen to nitpick over non issues and outright bug people!
