The rigors of a college environment these days is seeing if your liver will make it through.  I don't know many people who made it through college who actually have a commitment to learn..  It's more a commitment to find a way to get the answers to the exams.
And the ones who really went in for the whole 'college experience' and joined fraternities are the worst of them all!

That may be a bold statement, but is what I have honestly seen from 90% of the people I know who graduated.
