might I suggest a midi keybed and a midi to cv converter? you might  
not get the exact behavior of the original mini in regards to note  
priority, but you would solve a few issues at once. 2 o those wires  
coming from the keyboard of the original mini will accept the now  
standard 1v/octave and gate (unlike the s-trig in)

I installed switching jacks btwn my mini's keyboard and the synth  
itself, so that simply pluging in my cv and gate overrides the  
keyboard, and this works great, an maintains glide functionality and  
everything, which the original pitch input of the mini does not.
