thanks for the response.

under normal circumstances i'd just pay the premium for a real 
replacement, but it seems like all of Waldorf's stuff went down the 
u-bend in the bankruptcy :-(

has anyone been through the custom-xfer process with a mfr and can 
perchance offer a recommendo?
