[sdiy] Ultrasonic Cleaning Question

Hi all

I just picked up a little ultrasonic cleaner and have been testing it 
with using Electrolube Safewash.

I have a question though -- can regular through-hole radial electrolytic 
capacitors be cleaned?
I just took one apart to investigate a little -- under the outer plastic 
there is a metal (?aluminium?) can, sealed at the top but semi-open at 
the bottom where the leads come out -- there is what seems to be a 
little rubber seal just inside the base.

I did some reading of datasheets and google-searches, but I haven't 
found all that much info. One place suggested you may be able to do it 
if you keep the immersion time under 5minutes and dry well after.. Hmm?!
