My ~complaint~ with YouTube is that I don't get to really
enjoy the videos. I have no sound, and only a sporadic connection
at work. When I do get to run the video, I can't see the circuit
or the schematic.
OTOH I can see the scope traces pretty well, and as someone mentioned, who on the
S-diy list would need to hear the sound after seeing the traces...
Anyway I feel like I've done a public service starting this thread, filling in for some
now-absent trolls on the list :^)

Yup - the use of YouTube is not for the benefit of the students. It's for the benefit of folks on this list, who may watch or not as they see fit.
