[sdiy] So just what *is* the Buchla 291?

If you continue to read that book you will find that both Buchla and Moog
are put in not so favorable light as employers, and i get the impression Bob was very much against the whole idea behind the MiniMoog and it happened mostly because of his employees who in sort of half secret
mode continued to design it.

There are lots of hype around Buchla, Moog etc, i regard them as ordinary
businessmen (although Bob himself said he was a rotten one) wanting to make money for living and during the course did some neat and clever
designs.

After all the hype theory are an American invention! ;)

Cheers
KD
