FWIW, I also prefer non-video formats, but I think Aaron's use of 
YouTube is a lot more likely to get the attention and interest of 
younger people who otherwise wouldn't be exposed to DIY synth/music 
projects. Since I'm sure his time is limited and he can only do one or 
the other, he's probably made the better choice.
