[sdiy] 7905 regulator "metal package"?

I've got a mc7905ck "-5V" reference IC here, its the wide "metal
package" version.  I cannot find a datasheet for this package type!

I assume that the "metal case" itself is Ground, but I don't know
which pin is input and which is output.  I am afraid to "test it" and
destroy the device - because it is the only one I have right now and I
need to use it soon (can't wait to order another one).

Any help?  If I wire it up backwards will I destroy it?
