I suggest looking at the schematics for the following:

- Pultec EQP-1A

- Neve 1066/1073/1084

- Sphere 900/920

- API 550A/550B


My favorite EQs are all inductor based.  Most EQs on the market today do not
use inductors but use gyrators to simulate inductors.
