Around 2:00, I realize that our "ramp" had a not-quite-right duty cycle setting (on that particular signal generator you can set the ramp to have varying upslope and downslope rates, for a real sawtooth I want this set to 100%-1%).

Regarding the square, I think the cutoff doesn't really go all the way down, which is why it looks warped.
