[sdiy] USA electronics surplus suppliers

Thanks to all who responded with the suggestions on improving my PWM
motor controller noise problems. I'm doing some workshops in the USA
(mainly at Bent Fest NYC) and I'd like to order parts locally. But
looking at Mouser, the cheapest DC motors they have in stock are $25!!!!!!

In contrast, in Germany I can order packages of surplus tape player
motors, costing about EUR 3 for 5 motors. Can anyone suggest a similar
outlet in the USA to check for surplus electro-mechanical parts? I'd
rather not have to pack 25 DC motors in my luggage ;-)

In case anyone has specific leads, I'm looking for small 12V DC motors
like these:

Otherwise, suggestions of where to look are very welcome!!!

Best!
Derek
