Yeah, probably.  That would be cool!  Ooo, I'm getting that feeling...

Don't know.  It might not make that much difference.  I don't do anything
special with the dry transfer decals I'm using now, and they stick well to
virgin Al plate, with the protection sticker freshly peeled off.

I think it's worth a test!
