I don't know what Tim's got in mind, but I'd use two SSM2164s. One  
would do four filter stages, the other would deal with the resonance  
VCA, stereo output VCAs, and one spare VCA for some modulation or other.

I don't know of any in-production DIP analogue filters (aside from  
switched cap stuff) so SSM2164 is the nearest we've got.
