Hi Rick
First of all, thanks for providing the power (literally) for keeping this
list!
I doubt that letting the hard drive sleep is a good idea, as it will mean
lots of powering the disk up and down, meaning many times the wear, compared
to just letting it spin.
Is it possible to adjust the clock rate and processor usage on the mini.
With 1.83 GHz dual core there is an abundance of power. Might as well cool
things down a bit and save the wattage...
