Just a random thought -

I met Craig Devin, who was Alesis VP for Engineering at that time, at the last NAMM show (he's now doing development for Avant Electronics). He was fairly open to me with stories/anectodes/etc. from back in the day - along with Dave Bryce, the Andromeda was apparently kinda his baby. Should I ping him? What should I ask?
